The thickness of the door including the handle plates can be 30mm-64mm. The long screw can be cut with a fine metal saw to reduce it, in the 5 positions along its length that are flat. Tip. Remember to see in the middle of the flat section, and the rough edge file on the screw made by the saw. The smaller end section requires a 5 mm hole. The widest part of the screw head is 7 mm, so if you have holes larger than 6 mm in door handles, roses or shields, this product is not suitable. The long screw must fit holes from 4 mm to 6 mm. Note that the smaller female threaded screw in the picture has a slightly protruding nut surface near the end of the screw, making it suitable for a 6mm hole only.
